Katie Dahl | Dahl House Designs

"Jennifer promised that I would walk away with a full year's content plan for my business. Not only did she deliver on that promise, which is a feat in and of itself, I also learned skills and discovered tools that will shape my content marketing for years to come. What really makes Content Camp special are the live Q&A working sessions. I've never experienced anything like that at other conferences. I got more work done on my business' content plan in 3 days than I have in the last 2 years. You can't put a price tag on this experience, but it's so affordable you can't afford NOT to attend."

Curious If Content Camp Is Worth It?

Check out what these business owners had to say about their experience as Content Camp Attendees.

What's The Story Behind Content Camp?

Content Camp is created and produced by Jennifer Bourn — 23-year designer, 16-year agency owner, 12-year blogger, and serious lover of content strategy.

The Typical Conference Model Is Failing Small Businesses

Hi! I’m Jennifer Bourn — a graphic designer, web designer, and content creator, and I don’t know about you, but I’m over the typical conference experience designed to wear you down so you’ll be more susceptible to a sales pitch at the end. I’m also tired of sitting in a ballroom, listening to a lineup of speakers, ferociously taking notes, and making a giant to-do list, only to leave overwhelmed and end up not taking action because it’s unclear where to start and how everything fits together — there’s no strategy and not enough time to implement everything every speaker said I should be doing. It’s a broken model.

That's Why I'm All About Hands-On Workshops

I love workshops because they create space for business owners to work ON their business rather than IN it. At workshops, attendees get things done and make progress at the event, and that momentum continues as they take action on their own. Over the past several years, I’ve created training curriculum and delivered online courses and hands-on workshops for freelancers, small businesses, micro-agencies, and creative professionals on topics like branding, content strategy, business systems, sales, and lead generation. These workshops always receive rave reviews and that seriously got me thinking…

Every Minute Invested In Content Needs To Make An Impact

Building a successful business is a lot of work but it doesn’t have to be difficult work and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I know you’re busy — you have too many things on your plate and never enough time. I also know you have a dream and you’re not going to give up. If you invest time, money, and energy into attending an event and being “out of the office,” it needs to be worth it. That’s why Content Camp is designed to produce real results that move your business forward. Every minute spent working on your business, is a minute not spent serving clients or being with loved ones so let’s make every minute count.

You Don't Need A Conference, You Need A Workshop

If you’ve struggled with content planning and creation… If finding time to blog or coming up with blogging topics has been a challenge… If you struggle to effectively tell your brand story, communicate your value, and show prospects the impact you can have on their lives/business… You don’t need another conference full of speakers regurgitating things you’ve read online and giving you more unfocused to-dos. You need a workshop. You need three days away from day-to-day demands and obligations to focus on your business, your message, and your content so you can map it out, get it done, and create strategic momentum.

Spend Three Days Immersed In All Things Content

From gaining clarity, brainstorming new ideas, and content planning to creating content like brand messaging, blog posts, ebooks, content upgrades, and more, Content Camp has you covered. This three-day workshop intensive is designed to not only walk you step-by-step through every tactic, strategy, but give you time to take action and get help and direct feedback on the spot. Plus, you’ll learn how to leverage content marketing opportunities for authority positioning, rapid list-building, increased brand visibility, and better search engine rankings so more people who need what you offer can find you online.

Content Camp FAQs

If you have a question about Content Camp? I have the answer!

What happens if I buy a ticket but later can’t go to Content Camp?

All Content Camp ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you buy a ticket to the event and are unable to attend, your workshop ticket is transferable to another individual until two weeks before the event. After that time, tickets are locked down and are no longer transferable.

I have a scheduling conflict! Will the sessions be recorded so I can watch them later?

Yes, all workshop training/instruction sessions will be recorded and the replays will be available for 90 days so you can revisit any sessions you missed or want to review again.

What do I need to participate in Content Camp?

Each workshop will guide you through exercises and have you actively working on your brand, your business, and your content. You can stream/access the workshops from any device like your smartphone or a tablet, but there are some that will be easier if you are at a computer with access to files. You’ll also want to have the Content Camp workbook by your side, along with pencils/pens and highlighters, your favorite beverage and snacks, and maybe even some sticky notes!

How is the workbook provided to attendees?

The hardcopy, spiral-bound Content Camp workbooks are beloved and we’re actively working to secure a partner to ship them on-demand for future events. For now, the workbooks are provided in advance of the event in PDF format. All worksheets are also provided individually in PDF and Google Docs / Google Sheets formats.

What if I don’t have a business but I have a blog? Will I benefit from Content Camp?

If you’re investing time and energy into your blog, you want people to visit your site, read your posts, and subscribe to your blog or email list. Maybe you even dream of earning side-income, free product, or special event invites from brand partners and sponsors… You may not view your blog as a business yet, but shifting your mindset can make a big difference in your blog’s potential.

Content Camp will help you create a strategy for your blog that clarifies your brand and message, positions you as a desirable market partner, increases traffic to your blog, and simplifies social media without sacrificing results. Plus, you’ll leave the event with up to a year of content ideas in-hand and your first block of content mapped out!

What if I don’t have a blog? Will I benefit from Content Camp?

There are a lot of businesses that use content marketing to attract clients and customers without a blog. Some only use social media. Others run a podcast or a YouTube channel, or choose to focus on email marketing. All of it is content. Whether you’re creating social media posts, audio content, video content, or text articles, you must be strategic with your messaging and approach to attract the right clients and customers and build your list with people who pay attention and engage. So yes! Content Camp is for you!

Can I attend Content Camp on behalf of my client?

YES! If you’re in advertising, marketing, public relations, or social media, you’re a consultant, or you create content on behalf of your clients as copywriters do, you are more than welcome to attend Content Camp and complete the exercises on behalf of a client. The event will help you gain clarity on your clients’ brand and message, think more strategically about their content and blog, prepare for the year ahead, and discover how to improve the results and benefits of the services you deliver. If you plan to use the Content Camp workbook and materials for multiple clients, however, you will need a workshop ticket for each client.

Can bring my VA or my entire team to Content Camp?

YES! It’s a brilliant plan to have anyone working on your brand go through Content Camp with you so you can collaborate on the exercises and ensure everyone is on the same page. Each person who participates, however, must have their own ticket and unique login.

Have a question that hasn’t been answered anywhere on this page?

Reach out any time! I’m happy to answer any questions you might have.
